The Women's Board fashion show is the premier fall fashion show in our area and is a long-standing tradition of The Women's Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation. This event has raised thousands of dollars to better the lives of those in our community who cannot afford medical treatment and prescriptions. As the only locally-owned and operated healthcare system in our area, all funds raised by Baptist Health Care Foundation and The Women's Board stay local.
It was “Back to the Classics” during the 2009 Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show
For 33 years, the annual Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show continues to showcase the latest in fashion. This popular fund raiser, presented by the Women’s Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation, serves as the fall fashion preview for thousands of women in the greater Pensacola area.
The October 15, 2009, show incorporated both professional and local celebrity models with dancers and a bagpiper. The runway was filled with the latest fashions for men and women. Belk Department Stores presented fashions and accessories from a wide array of designers. Over $15,000 was raised as a result of this year’s fashion show.
Since 1976, the Women’s Board has provided community support through its fund raising initiatives. Throughout the years, these dedicated women have raised over $1.5 million dollars to support Baptist Health Care and all who receive care at Baptist.
