Jerry Maygarden, President Jerry is a professional foundation executive with 30-years experience in philanthropy and public affairs. He has received numerous accolades for his work, including regional Addy Awards, the MacEachern Citation, and the Touchstone Award. He is also a recipient of the Silver Medal Award from the American Advertising Federation, and the Impact Award for Government Service from the Florida Public Relations Association. Jerry is an accomplished speaker and author. He has published numerous monographs, books and essays. He is a recipient of the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge, and the Bronze Medal for Good Citizenship from the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. Jerry is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International.

Katherine Champlin, Director of Development
Katherine comes to the Foundation from the University of West Florida where she served as Public Relations and Development Coordinator for the College of Professional Studies. Prior to that, Katherine was Vice President of Community Development for the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce. As Director of Development, Katherine develops and implements strategic plans to accomplish the Foundation's mission. She manages all operations of the Foundation office in addition to maintaining community and philanthropic support. Katherine earned her M.S. from Troy State University and her B.S. from the University of West Florida.

Paul Young, Director of Major and Planned Gifts
Paul specializes in planned giving and is ready to assist donors with their estate planning. He joined the Foundation after completing a 35-year career with BellSouth. Paul has been active in the community in a number of leadership roles including serving as a member of the Pensacola City Council during 1995-1998. In 2002, Paul stepped down as the Chairman of the Foundation, after serving on the board for more than 10 years. He currently serves on the boards of Panhandle Tiger Bay Club and Allvista Solutions. He is also a city director for AmSouth Bank and is a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola.

| Darlene Arenz, Project Manager |

Darlene joins the Foundation after having spent 6 months in the Accounting department and one year with Administration at Baptist Health Care. As Project Manager, Darlene manages the financial functions of the Foundation. She prepares the Foundation's financial reports and acts as a liaison between the Foundation and Baptist Health Care. |

Trisha Morrison, Gift Shop Manager
Trisha is responsible for buying, merchandising, and operating the Baptist Hospital Gift Shop and the Baptist Towers Gift Shop. Trisha is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Moving to Pensacola in 1991, she began her career in retail sales at Gayfers and Dillards. In 2000, she joined Baptist Health Care as assistant manager of the Towers Boutique. Trisha is an active volunteer in the community with Fiesta of Five Flags, Pensacola Seafood Festival, The Mash Bash for the American Red Cross, Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival, WSRE Wine and Food Classic, Relay for Life, Femme Nouvelle, and Queen of the Krewe of Warriors in 2003.
