Please share why you became a Women's Board member. Why is Baptist important or special to you?

I have been proud to be a member of the Women’s Board because Baptist is such an integral part of our community. I delivered my son at Baptist in 2010, and I felt at home there. I wanted to be able to give back to a place that was special to me.

What would you like Women's Board members to know about you — your experience, background, education and family?

I grew up in Pittsburgh and moved here in 2010 after living in California and Arizona for years. I have worked as a nurse practitioner in the NICU, PICU and reproductive endocrinology. After making the decision to pause my career to raise our three children, I have become passionate about spending my free time volunteering with organizations that are meaningful to me.

Please share a moment or experience that you, a friend, or loved one experienced as a Women’s Board member.

This has been the most amazing group of women to work with. I will never forget the love, words of support and beautiful plant that the Women’s Board sent me when my father passed away. They truly have become family.
