Please share why you became a Women's Board member. Why is Baptist important or special to you?

I saw what the women on the board were doing for the community, and I wanted to be a part of it to do my part of giving back.

What would you like Women's Board members to know about you — your experience, background, education and family?

I've been in the insurance industry since 1999. It's not an easy topic to discuss, and the only reason I am still a broker is because I get to help people with a very confusing necessity. I have two grown boys and one amazing grandson, all whom I adore. I am also a member of Rotary, which is another way to give back, but by far, the Women's Board is the most fun!

Please share a moment or experience that you, a friend, or loved one experienced as a Women’s Board member.

I don't have just one stand-out moment, but instead I have seen numerous times where we celebrate each other's wins, as well as stand alongside each other with loss. I've had the privilege of watching this group of ladies become family, like sisters. Who doesn't need more supportive sisters?!
