The fifth annual Denim and Rhinestones Ball, sponsored by The Women's Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation, will be held March 1, 2008 at 6 p.m. at New World Landing. The event, which features great music by Mr. Big, a gourmet dinner and a silent auction, raises funds for Baptist Health Care Foundation's programs and services.

Guests are invited to don their favorite denim and accessorize with fabulous rhinestone jewelry for an informal affair to raise money for community outreach programs including nursing scholarships, free speech and hearing therapy for disadvantaged children and free mammograms for uninsured women. Last year's event raised over $30,000 for these vital services.

As the only locally-owned and operated healthcare system in our area, all funds raised by Baptist Health Care Foundation through events like the Denim and Rhinestones Ball stay local, helping those in need in our community.

Local businesses or individuals who wish to support this event may do so in a variety of ways. Sponsorships are available and range from $150 to $5,000. Individual tickets are $75. Additionally, we are in need of items for our silent auction. Jewelry, artwork, vacation packages anything of value may be donated for the silent auction.
