KC Gartman, Executive Director

KC Gartman is the executive director of the Baptist Health Care Foundation. KC is responsible for generating income and public awareness through fundraising programs targeting a broad base of foundations and donors — individual and corporate — with a primary focus on major and planned giving. She also manages the daily operations of the Foundation office and staff.

Katherine Champlin, Director of Development

Katherine is responsible for securing financial gifts to support services throughout Baptist Health Care. Through fundraising events, programs and outreach she works with individuals, businesses and foundations that share Baptist Health Care's passion for improving the quality of life in our community.

Katherine previously worked at the University of West Florida as Public Relations and Development Coordinator for the College of Professional Studies. Prior to that, Katherine was Vice President of Community Development for the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce. Katherine earned her master's degree from Troy State University and her bachelor's degree from the University of West Florida.

Heather Moorer, Director of Development

Heather is responsible for generating income and public awareness of the Baptist Health Care Foundation - with a primary focus on annual events and employee giving. Heather is the liaison for the Women's Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation and works with the board to promote Baptist Health Care's mission through quarterly meetings, Stepping Out in Style and other fundraisers throughout the year.

Heather is from Gulf Breeze, Fla., and
has ten years of health care fundraising experience. Heather earned her bachelor's degree from Auburn University.

Maegan Leonard, Development Specialist

Maegan Leonard is responsible for contributing to the Foundation's overall financial growth and fundraising initiatives, with a focus on managing the Helping Hands annual employee giving campaign.

Maegan was previously the Director of Membership for the Greater Pensacola Chamber and is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree in Journalism.
