What do you get the woman who gives everything? To celebrate and honor their mother, Jan Pace Cooper and Kathy Pace Searcy made a generous gift to two Baptist Health Care facilities in south Santa Rosa County. Now at Gulf Breeze Hospital (GBH) and Baptist Medical Park-Navarre (BMPN) visitors will visit the JoAnn Pace Doman Women’s Imaging Centers for mammography services.
JoAnn and her daughters met with Bob Harriman, GBH/Andrews Institute administrator and BHC senior vice president, and Patsy Myers, GBH vice president of operations and chief nursing officer, to tour the hospital, including the department that now bears JoAnn’s name.
“I can’t begin to tell you how honored I am to have these centers carry my name,” said JoAnn.
Bob and Patsy extended sincere appreciation on behalf of all staff and physicians at Baptist Health Care. Both facilities offer the latest in digital mammography technology.
One in eight American women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. When detected and treated early, the chance for cure is close to 100 percent. The gift from Jan and Kathy in honor of their mom supports Baptist Health Care’s mission to improve the quality of life for the communities it serves.
